The ROMAX NANO iJAW press jaw of the Kontur RFz series, available in various nominal diameters, is ideal for system-compliant pressing of fittings for plastic pipe systems. The press jaw communicates reliably and in real time with the press machine via an integrated RFID sensor. This allows the specific NANO iJAW press jaw in use to be uniquely identified, and the pressing operations performed are then stored directly on the jaw—even if it has been used on different NANO press machines. The data can then be read, sent, and archived via the ROTHENBERGER app. An extended service life for the Press jaw, as well as precise pressing, is achieved through a special, partial laser hardening process called DURA LAZR TEC. This results in minimized wear within the press contour as well as a doubling of press cycles compared to the previous model. The quality of the press jaw throughout its entire service life is enhanced by optimized corrosion protection. Thanks to the synchronous mechanism, opening the press jaw during daily use is a breeze (one-finger operation).
