ICARIO Rosso
Rosso di Montepulciano is the bedrock of Sangiovese, complemented by the soft richness of Merlot. This combination results in a lively, fruit-forward wine that offers vibrant red fruit, soft tannins, and a touch of elegance. The vibrant acidity of Sangiovese is perfectly complemented by the velvety texture of Merlot, resulting in a balanced and inviting wine with depth and charm. It is a vibrant expression of two iconic grape varieties in perfect harmony.
Product description
The grapes are hand-harvested in mid-September; fermentation and maceration take place over 15 to 20 days in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 25 to 26 °C. The wine is then racked, and the temperature is lowered to 18 to 20 °C to allow malolactic fermentation to begin. Aging takes place in traditional 3,500-liter and 500-liter French oak barrels for 6 months.
