AMPShare - powered by Bosch. The new, cross-manufacturer battery alliance for power tools brings added efficiency, availability and global reach to professionals in various fields of application. AMPShare was founded by Bosch, Fein and ROTHENBERGER. The basis is the 18-volt battery technology from Bosch.
One battery with global reach: AMPShare. AMPShare saves time, reduces costs and protects the environment. But AMPShare offers even more:

The future of battery systems
ROTHENBERGER focuses on system solutions to improve the work processes of their customers. Manufacturer-independent battery systems are an essential building block in this. AMPShare offers an unprecedented global reach and availability for our users, in addition to technological leadership. This is particularly important for us against the backdrop of the global transformation of energy systems. We have therefore decided to offer our battery tools with AMPShare interface. This means that our customers will be able to choose between two manufacturer-independent battery systems in the future. With CAS, we continue to offer compatibility with highly specialized partners. This is unique and a huge advantage for our customers.

High reach and flexibility with AMPShare
AMPShare was founded by the three companies Bosch, Fein and ROTHENBERGER. The common goal of the founding companies: To offer professional users a technologically leading 18-volt battery system with comprehensive range that is compatible across numerous professional brands, areas of application and countries.
More than 25 professional brands are already partners of AMPShare, and further partners are already in discussion. By the end of 2023, over 300 compatible tools and machines will be available on the platform.

AMPShare is a cross-manufacturer battery system that gives the flexibility to run professional tools from different brands on the same battery. Available in different sizes and power capacities, AMPShare batteries make it possible to use different tools from all AMPShare partner brands with the same battery - including the entire Bosch Professional 18V system.
At launch, the AMPShare platform already includes more than 200 tools from more than 25 brands. By the end of 2023, 300 compatible tools will already be available. The AMPShare battery technology is based on the Professional 18V system from Bosch Professional. This means that there are already more than 80 million batteries sold on the market that can be used with all AMPShare tools
AMPShare is made up of the terms "AMP", as short form for ampere (unit of measurement for the electrical current strength), for the performance of the system, and the term "Share", which stands for the sharing of the battery on a universal battery platform and underlines the idea of sustainability.
