The Master Prize is organized by ROTHENBERGER together with the ZVSHK in the Bundesleistungszentrum (BLZ) for the HVAC professions in Schweinfurt. Master plumbers and heating contractors who have obtained their master craftsman's title in 2015, 2016 or 2017 were invited to participate.

The competition was held on September 15, 2017. The jury consisted of Josef Bock (branch manager of the guild Schweinfurt and national trainer HVAC), André Schnabel (WorldSkills expert HVAC) and Ingried Gerber (technical consultant, ROTHENBERGER Werkzeuge GmbH). The Master Prize takes place every two years and was held for the third time this year. The BLZ in Schweinfurt under the direction of national trainer HVAC Josef Bock has been the venue of the competition since the beginning and offers ideal conditions for building and evaluating the required pre-wall constructions due to its premises designed for training courses.
