AMPShare battery system: Energize your next project

ROTHENBERGER's cordless tool family is constantly growing
ROTHENBERGER is currently introducing five new cordless tools with AMPShare interface for the SHK trade. The company is a founding member of the multi-vendor battery platform. The declared goal: Professionals in the trade should be able to use cordless tools from as many professional brands as possible with the same battery – worldwide. This saves costs, increases efficiency and has positive effects on the environment. The “battery community” has now grown to 33 brand manufacturers, who together offer over 300 tools and machines on the AMPShare battery platform.

Maximum machine power without cables. SHK professionals can now particularly look forward to this. With the ROTHENBERGER AMPShare cordless tools, the most common jobs such as pressing, bending, thread cutting as well as inspection and locating can be done without a direct power connection.

Shortly after the AMPShare battery platform was founded, ROTHENBERGER released the first tool with an AMPShare interface in 2023: the ROCAM mini HD pipe inspection camera. Recently five more have been added. Moreover all tools have also been optimized in terms of ease of use and performance. The ROMAX Compact III pressing machine with its constant force technology, which always ensures optimal pressing performance, is a particular highlight. At the same time, the connectivity has been further developed so that the pressing work can be documented directly on site and the machine's service requirements are automatically monitored. The SUPERTRONIC 2000E cordless thread cutting machine also promises strong and resource-saving performance. It makes efficient and precise work much easier – even in tight installation situations. This is ensured by both the innovative cutting head holder and its special geometry. Another plus is the brushless motor, which makes the machine maintenance-free and particularly durable. When creating identical arches, cables will no longer be in the way. With the ROBEND 4000E, pipes can be bent with high continuity and perfect results. Once the desired bending angle is reached, the machine switches off automatically. The ROMAX 4000 pressing machine and the RO DD 55 cordless drill driver complete the new AMPShare tool family.

The AMPShare battery technology powered by Bosch with its ProCORE 18V batteries is one of the most advanced and powerful on the market. With AMPShare, professionals not only rely on the world's fastest charging technology, but also on reliable power which makes handling the hardest materials easy.  Additionally AMPShare batteries are especially compact and characterized by their low weight. This enables more ergonomic and comfortable working, which is particularly beneficial in inconvenient positions.

More mobility and flexibility on the construction site are among the unbeatable advantages of the AMPShare battery system. It no longer matters whether there is electricity on site or not, operators can start immediately. AMPShare offers a simple and cost-effective way to sustainably build up an 18V tool inventory. The longevity of the AMPShare batteries is a key factor in this. The outstanding Coolpack technology ensures rapid heat dissipation, which enables the batteries to run exceptionally long times and extends their operational life span.
