Light and flexible: the ROFROST Turbo II R290 freezer

Freezing pipes is part of the everyday work of every heating system installer. It is a safe procedure for the quick replacement of heating elements, for maintenance or repair, or when an existing system needs to be extended. Freezing units are therefore part of the standard equipment. The problem: they are heavy and unwieldy. With the new ROFROST Turbo II R290 freezer, ROTHENBERGER offers the familiar excellent freezing performance of the previous models with 23 percent less weight and 10 percent less size. The optimized product design makes the freezer much easier to transport. In addition, it is also suitable for confined spaces, which makes work noticeably easier.

Another innovation concerns the refrigerant hose. It is now even more flexible and complies with the new REACH regulation for the use of refrigerants. This ensures that the use of these chemicals does not endanger health and the environment. The ROTHENBERGER product developers have also checked the refrigeration tongs according to the current installation guidelines. The tried and tested design was retained for the 2" cold tongs. However, the 1.1/4" cold tongs have been further improved in terms of product technology. It now grips firmly even in very narrow positions.

Automatic freezing becomes even safer with the new ROFROST app. With it, users can monitor the entire process from A to Z. The app can be easily downloaded from the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. It is intuitive to use and offers many other functions that make working and documentation even easier.
