Sievert Sales Manager - UK
Main Purpose of Role
To Lead from the front our Sales, Product and Market Development for Sievert Heating Tools in the UK and Republic of Ireland.
To provide additional Technical Knowledge and Guidance on the business segments.
To assist with all Major accounts and increase our National Campaign activity.
To identify key areas of growth.
To work with the General Rothenberger Sales Team to grow Sievert sales in their account base, look for new opportunities and improve knowledge and selling skills.
Reporting Structure
UK Sales Director with dotted lines to UK MD / Sievert International Sales Manager
Indirect Relationships
To work closely with all Rothenberger External Area Sales managers and Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Full Sievert UK Sales responsibility.
- Help to Create 12-month business plan for the Sievert brand in the local market aligned with the overall Sievert global plan.
- To build/ create additional business in New and Existing Customers
- To actively look for new market/ distribution opportunities
- To identify and execute "Quick Win" opportunities.
- Develop Key Account growth plans/ roadmaps, in conjunction with SD/MD leveraging the current trading and business relationships.
- Full Competitor Analysis
- Product identification/ Product Selection (Stage 1 - products available now, Stage 2 product development for future launch)
- Help to create Marketing Plan to include literature/ PR/ POS (Scope - Marketing to implement)
- Internal/ External Product Training
- Create "After Sales Service" strategy utilizing RO-UK service centre and customer service team.
- To support Demonstration Events and Training Events
- To support Exhibitions and Trade Shows nationally
- To identify and develop Key End User relationship (New and Existing) within the category (Medium/ Large Regional/ National End Users) with link to social media platforms.
- To identify large contractors/maintenance companies
- To work more closely with the Universities and Colleges that operate training courses etc linked to our tools.
- Additional areas of involvement
- Work closely with Sievert Product Management on NPD and keep them informed of all market developments and competitor plays.
- Liaise with Sievert Product Management on future NPD and Marketing plans.
Skills Requirements
- Good knowledge of the customer base and construction industry particularly the Roofing Sector
- Established relationship with Key Account base.
- Ability to sell and communicate at all levels.
- Ability to Demonstrate at all levels.
- Excellent presentational skill set/ Technical competence.
- Ability to work on own initiative and create short, medium and long terms sales goals.
- Proven Track record of achieving Targets in this sector.
